The goal: 1,667 words each day; 50,000 words by month's end.
This is my first NaNoWriMo. I am very excited to see what comes of the effort and am anxious to get started.
There is a vague plot roughed out in my mind - working title is 'Stained Glass'. The idea came to me a few nights ago and it's been hard to hold back, not get started right away.

Yikes! I thought it was supposed to be 10,000 words. So glad I didn't take NaNoWriMo on this year - I'd be freaking out.

Ha! Freaking out is an apt word on Day Three when the realization of just how long and just how hard 1,667 a day actually is.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to not get caught up in the numbers and just write every day. Stats were never my thing, anyway.
